stripykat Spring Clean

There’s nothing better than a good spring clean, to clear the clutter, tidy up and generally get everything back in order.  That’s exactly what I have been doing today.

Thankfully it’s not the house or garage that I have had to tackle, but the stripykat database.   I have a wonderful database that lists every item I have made for stripykat, the costs involved, the fabric used, where the product is and the selling price.  I have been really rather lax recently and the database has needed abit of updating.

It has taken me pretty much all day and thankfully it’s now all up-to-date and it’s an excellent way of looking at what sells where.  Like everything, it’s only as good as what you put in to it so I am definitely going to keep the database updated from now on!

It also highlighted how many items I have designed and made.  It is currently standing at over 500 items and the Tarty Kindle case was the 500th item.

How exciting!!!

Lined in soft cotton and with an invisible magnetic fastener the stripykat Kindle case will certainly make your Kindle look stylish and sophisticated.

stripykat Skye’s take on things

Dogs have never been renowned for talking much sense, well infact talking at all but here’s our pup Skye putting the world to rights with her take on stripykat.

She might just be biased but I am sure she’s not.

stripykat Falling Leaf clutch bag

Introducing the Falling Leaf mini clutch bag. Don’t worry it’s big enough for your essentials.

I have lined it in the striking Amy Butler fabric which I just adore.  I have sewn small leaves that I cut out of some grey felted wool I have.  An eye catching bag ideal for a wedding or a night on the town.

stripykat New additions to the Library

There are 5 new made to measure Kindle cases on stripykat.com to add to your library.  Each Kindle case from stripykat has soft cotton lining, 4 layers of interlining that’s the stuff that keeps your Kindle out of harms way and it makes the case nice and soft.  There are also two pairs of magnetic fasteners in the flap so even if you dangle the Kindle case upside down then it stays right where it is.

So there you go – treat your Kindle to a bit of love it deserves.
